Hoisin Sauce 300 ML

AED 930

Hoisin sauce is a thick, fragrant sauce commonly used in Cantonese cuisine as a glaze for meat, an addition to stir fries, or as dipping sauce. It is darkly-colored in appearance and sweet and salty in taste. Although regional variants exist, hoisin sauce usually includes soybeansfennel, red chili peppers, and garlic. Vinegar, five-spice powder and sugar are also commonly added.

The word hoisin is derived from a shortening of the Chinese words for “seafood sauce”, although the sauce does not contain any seafood ingredients and is not commonly consumed with seafood. The reason for the name is “seafood flavor”, a common adjective in Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuan’s (fish fragrant).

Hoisin sauce is used as a marinade sauce for meat or as a dipping sauce.

Thick in consistency and filled with aroma, Razmin Hoisin Sauce is your way to prepare delicious Chinese cuisine. It comes in handy for preparing savory sweet dishes. The strong yet sweet flavor has a deep element of spice and salt, combined altogether. Made with soybeans, garlic, sugar and sesame oil, it serves as an appetizing addition to marinades and barbecue sauces for grilled/roasted meat dishes. Add it to stir-fry green veggies such as spinach and broccoli for added flavor, or enjoy it as a dipping sauce with spring rolls or chops.
